As we are getting closer to departure, just need to go over a few things.
- Please review your airline tickets: check your seat assignments, baggage allowance, frequent flyer numbers, TSA numbers, passport numbers. If you purchased your air through Dunwoodie Travel, I can resend your itinerary upon request.
- Please review your trip insurance. if you purchased through Dunwoodie Travel, I can resend your policy. Please review and let me know if you have questions or wish to increase coverage.

Regarding arrival in Paris:
- Transfers are arranged. You will be met at the airport and taken to the hotel along with anyone else on your flight. The group’s flight info is available on the website. insert link flight info
- If you are arriving in Paris for three nights, you may select optional sightseeing tours. Please click on the Paril Optional Excursions sign-up sheet. insert Paris Optional Excursions link
- If you are arriving for one or two nights in Paris, you don’t have as much time, but perhaps you can still see the Louvre or Eiffel Tower. Please click on the Paris Optional Excursions sign-up sheet.
- On Saturday, September 5, after breakfast and checkout, the group will be picked up from the hotel and taken to Lyon for about a 3-hour ride. There will be time to stop for lunch in Chateau de Chambord (or similar). The group will be dropped off at the pier in Lyon to board the MS Thomas Hardy.
Regarding the MS Thomas Hardy:
- There are three excursions on the Thomas Hardy that can be chosen in advance. On the website, there is a document called Paris Excursions and Riviera Excursions which has a detailed description of all these tours. insert Riviera Excursions description
- This is for day 5 in Ardeche, day 6 in Arles, and day 7 in Avignon.
- Only the Camargue is an additional cost, the other excursions are included.
Regarding departure from Avignon:
- On Saturday, September 12, the group will disembark in Avignon and will be taken by private motorcoach for a 3-hour drive to Nice. There will be time to stop for lunch, perhaps in St Tropez, or similar. The bus will drop everyone off at the hotel Westminster.
- Free afternoon/evening in Nice.
- On Sunday, September 13, there will be separate pickups based on flight departure time. This transfer cost is included.
