Aboard Star Flyer – January 3–10, 2026

January 5, 2026

Our Yoga & Wellness Week aboard the Star Flyer began with unexpected challenges, as the FAA temporarily closed Caribbean airspace, delaying our sailing from St Maarten, instead joining the ship in Tortola. Although we missed the first two nights, we quickly made up for lost time and enjoyed an exceptional remainder of the journey.

Sailing with Star Clippers offers a truly unique experience; an intimate, yacht-like atmosphere with just 170 passengers. The ship’s classic design, with rich wood finishes and traditional nautical character, created an ambiance that felt both elegant and timeless. Each day brought a new destination, from the stunning islands of the British Virgin Islands to the chic charm of Saint Barthélemy and the pristine beaches of Anguilla.

The yoga and wellness program was a standout feature of the week. Petrusia Kotlar Paslawsky led insightful discussions on nutrition and overall wellness, while Maryana Bereziouk guided us through meditation, relaxation, and sound therapy sessions. Nadia Ratycz rounded out the program with daily yoga classes, creating a balanced and enriching experience. Meditation on the beach was truly unforgettable.

What made this journey special, however, was the camaraderie. Evenings were filled with laughter and connection, as conversations flowed effortlessly—much like the wine shared around the table. The bonds formed and memories created made this more than just a cruise; it was a meaningful and joyful experience, with plans already in mind to do it again.
